Malbec Altas Cumbres 2018
An intense Malbec with strong notes of jam and red berries. A delicious flavour that will linger in the mouth. Easy to drink and pairs especially well with steaks, stews, and duck dishes.
Vineyard: Luján de Cuyo – Mendoza. Planted in 1906, 1930, 1995, 2007. Altitude: 850 and 980 metres above sea level.
Fermentation Process: In stainless steel tanks with daily pump-overs and a controlled temperature under 28 °C. The maceration lasts between 8 and 12 days, depending on daily tastings.
Aging: 30% of the wine spent between 3-5 months in oak barrels (50% French and 50% American)
Storing in Bottle: Up to 5 years.
Acidity: 5.6 g/l
